Be sure and take in the sights and smells of lavender in-bloom this summer and hit the Southern Oregon Lavender Trail. The lavender bloom only lasts six to eight weeks, so get out your calendar and make it a date! This year’s festival dates are Friday, June 22 through Sunday, June 24 and Friday, July 13 through Sunday, July 15. Hours are 9:00am-6:00pm on festival days.

The Lavender Festival takes place at several farms and ranches in the Applegate Valley. Each is a family favorite, full of beauty and tranquility—and fun!—with each farm always offering something new. They celebrate all things lavender, with locally-made arts and crafts, food, drinks and ice-cream!

Admission to both festivals is free, with plenty of parking available. Each location is unique, but you might expect to find local artisan vendors, U-pick lavender, food and drinks, snacks and ice cream, lavender wreath-making or lavender wand-making, plants for sale and live music. Check each venue’s website or Facebook page for full details about what they are planning!
