Umi Sushi, on the corner of California and Third Streets, is now open. The restaurant looks great – with new tables, and an attractive expansion into the space next door. The site is the former location of the Gold Dust Cafe and prior to that, Jaspers.
City Councilor, Jim Lewis, who had just finished his meal at Umi Sushi when The Review was in, said “It is really great!” He was very enthusiastic about the restaurant and the food.
A full sushi menu is available, from nigiri, and classic rolls to premium rolls and veggie rolls. The menu also includes appetizers, like ceviche and bento boxes.
The hours are Monday through Thursdays – 11-3, 4-9, Fridays 11-3, 4-10, and Saturdays, 12-3, 4-10. Currently closed on Sundays. Phone number is 541-702-2258.
cant believe im the first person to recomend this place…i loved the long beach roll…fast service good foor…give umi a try!
