Art Presence Art Center is still making every effort to control the virus in our environment. We are looking forward to the month of May to transition into a more “normal” life for our gallery. With that in mind we present a truly fun event for which our members have painted images of pets. We offer these paintings to you and in turn we’ll donate a large portion of the proceeds to C.A.T.S. On Sunday, the 16th of May from 1 to 4, the organization will be at the gallery to offer their kittens for adoption. Please plan to join us for the exhibit and the flurry of furry kittens available to you.

Thank you to our members who have renewed with Art Presence for another year to share their creative endeavors. As the famous David Hockney said, “Art is Now!”

Art Presence Art Center announces new hours beginning this month! The gallery is now open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon–5:00pm.

Don’t miss “Petlandia,” a benefit exhibit for C.A.T.S. presented by the members of Art Presence. 6”x 6” paintings of pets cover the back wall from April 30 through May 30. In conjunction with the show, we’ve planned a special event on Sunday, May 16, during which C.A.T.S. will offer kittens for adoption on our front lawn from 1:00-4:00pm. This is your chance to rescue a charming furbaby to share your life and brighten your days!

Our collection of member artworks in the main gallery continues through the end of the month. Pet-loving patrons may find larger paintings of pets sprinkled throughout.

If you feel safer viewing the show at home, please visit our website for a virtual tour. Contact Anne Brooke at 541-941-7057 or anne@brookewatercolor.com to inquire about the art that captivates you or schedule a private gallery viewing. Please visit our website to enjoy virtual tours of art exhibits from the past few months!

Aunt in the Amazon inspires curiosity about the world, interest in other cultures and a desire to travel without fear. Visit art-presence.org to make your free reservation and join us at 5:00pm on Friday, May 14.

Artists, do you need a quiet, dedicated space where you can create? Art Presence has four studio spaces available in our Loft. Reasonable rent with no lease. You’ll have your own key, and water is available. Please contact Anne Brooke to inquire.
