Britt and Project Trio bring educational programs to area schools

Project Trio will perform a concert at the Britt Pavilion in Jacksonville, Oregon on Friday, October 12, at 8 p.m. The concert is part of Britt’s indoor “On the Stage” series.
Britt presents the acclaimed ensemble Project Trio in an outreach tour at several area schools this week. The trio will perform and engage from students ages 4 through adult, with scheduled appearances at Crater Renaissance Academy, Scenic Middle School, Siskiyou School, Santo Community Center and Southern Oregon University.
Project Trio has earned recognition for pushing the boundaries of chamber music with a high-energy mix of classical, jazz, hip-hop and rock. The Wall Street Journal has hailed the group’s “wide appeal, subversive humor and first-rate playing.” The trio is Greg Pattillo (flute), Eric Stephenson (cello) and Peter Seymour (bass).
