Local columnist and features writer, Peggy Dover, is pleased to announce the release of her novel titled Stone Revival, set in post-WWII England.

All aboard for a visit to the rail village of Rakefoot Crossing, a most unlikely location for espionage, kidnapping, and deception.

Glory Stone is content with her life as a country vet’s wife and mother to nineteen-year-old Claire and twelve-year-old Sydney. Even with husband and father, John, away in the collieries, the Stone home has remained relatively unscathed. War has finally ended, and England is shaking the dust off of a six-year rumble. John is coming home.

As the Stone women prepare for John’s homecoming, a telegram arrives saying he is dead. After the initial shock, Glory has questions. John’s disappearance launches a series of challenges, as she battles grief, panic attacks, a crippling lack of confidence, and unwarranted attention from station master, Axel Biggs.

Stone Revival is available through Amazon in Kindle and paperback editions, where a full description and sample pages are available. It may also be ordered through a favorite bookseller. Watch for upcoming signings on Peggy Dover’s Facebook page. Ask questions and follow her blog on Goodreads.
