Update from Jacksonville Community Center – May 2021
At the Jacksonville Community Center, we are excited to be offering more programming as vaccination rates increase and infection levels decline. Now, after the hurdles of the past year, you can help us relaunch more fully in this improved environment.
As a nonprofit organization, the JCC has a wonderful cooperative relationship with the City of Jacksonville, but we receive no ongoing funding from the City or any governmental source. We rely on contributions, class fees, rentals, and grants to keep our doors open and to offer a range of activities.
Spring is one of our semiannual fundraising times, to enable us to start the new fiscal year in July on a solid financial footing. We are pleased to announce that a major donor has offered to match contributions during this campaign, up to $10,000. Donations may be made online at www.jacksonvillecommunitycenter.org. Note that while PayPal is our donations processor, you do not have to have a PayPal account to donate by credit card. Gifts can also be mailed to the Jacksonville Community Center, P.O.
