Jacksonville Physical Therapy is excited to announce the addition of Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, Amanda Falkena to their clinic.

“We are honored to have Amanda join us,” says Lynn Reordan, co-owner of JPT. “Amanda’s skills address pre and post-operative pelvic surgery interventions, pelvic pain, incontinence, and pregnancy/post-partum issues, among others. Our purpose in adding Amanda to our staff is to provide much-needed pelvic floor specialty therapy services to the local community and the Rogue Valley.”

Lynn explained the high need for pelvic floor physical therapists amid a shortage in our area as evidenced by current long wait times to begin therapy. Amanda is passionate about helping these patients improve their quality of life through education and exercise. Her hope is to work alongside them to provide comprehensive care.

“Our practice emphasizes personal, professional attention to our patients,” Lynn continued. “Who Amanda is as a person, and how she interacts and cares for her patients uniquely complements our mission of offering hope and healing through excellent evidence-based care.”

Stay tuned for a full interview with Amanda and the issues she’ll address coming in the March issue of Jacksonville Review.
