Mark your calendars: Jacksonville Oregon Garden Club’s 27th Annual Spring Plant & Bake Sale is coming Saturday, May 12th, 9 AM–2 PM, at the Historic Courthouse grounds, 206 North Fifth Street, Jacksonville.
All locally grown potted garden and house plants with free gardening & plant advice; Fresh-cut floral bouquets; Dried herbs; Baked goods – pies, cookies, brownies; Raffle tickets ~ array of gardening supplies and books, including Southern Oregon’s Garden Guide for Rogue Valley; Spring garden gifts for Mother’s Day or yourself to enjoy.
New this year are wire-basket herbs (live plants), and one of the Farmer’s Market chefs serving light breakfast or lunch. Proceeds from sales promote community garden beautification projects and local scholarships.
Always like this time of year. Like putting a fresh coat of paint on the house. Everything is bright, fresh, and crisp! Too bad our relationships arne’t like bright pretty flowers. God is good. Can’t wait, always buy way more than needed. Thank you for taking time to do this. :)
