The “Every Child’s Foster the Love” initiative is a gift campaign for children in foster care in Jackson County. The goal of the campaign is to give a gift and a $25.00 gift card to each child in foster care this holiday season. Check out the Giving Tree on Fridays and Saturdays (9:00am to 8:00pm) until December 7th at The Liege located at 150 S. Oregon Street. Donations can also be made at www.everychildjackson.org.
Volunteer, Cynthia Wright, shared, “The incredible impact of the “Foster the Love” gift campaign is seeing the generosity of the community for our most vulnerable children—it is our chance to let them know we care for them.” Wright added that there are insufficient foster families so Every Child coordinates efforts to support the existing families. This support includes volunteer driving, bringing in meals, and assisting with household tasks.
