MEDFORD, OR — Due to the extreme smoky conditions prevailing in the region, the BrittKids Koncert series has been relocated until further notice. The free morning concerts for kids will now be held at the Oak Grove Elementary School gymnasium. Doors will open at 9:30 AM and the concerts will begin at 10:15 AM as previously scheduled. Oak Grove Elementary School is located at 2838 W Main St. in Medford, Oregon.
The next two BrittKids Koncerts are scheduled to be held on Sunday, July 29 (Iggy’s String Theory) and Monday, July 30 (Flora and the Search for the Groove). Audience members should bring blankets and towels for seating, and please, no chairs.
In addition, two other free Britt Education events have also been moved to indoor locations. Drumtastic Beats (and how to make them) at 11:00 AM on Sunday, July 29 will be held at the Ashland Parks & Recreation Community Center at 59 Winburn Way, Ashland, Oregon. The Britt Fellows String Ensemble performance at 7:00pm will now be held at Pioneer Hall at 73 Winburn Way, Ashland, Oregon.
