News From Britt Hill – August 2021
Nothing beats the adrenaline and the exhilaration of sitting on our beautiful hill, enjoying an amazing live performance. Or the rush of discovery that comes with witnessing the birth of a newcomer who you know will become a massive star—like Brandi Carlile before she made it big. Spanning eras and genres, our incredible venue offers the best sound, location and legends.
“Come Together” this season and enjoy a wide variety of musical artists including the classic blues-rock of ZZ Top (SOLD-OUT), Britt fan favorites Pink Martini featuring China Forbes, and the “Empress of Soul” herself – Gladys Knight. Other artists announced in the line-up include modern bluegrass-inspired Trampled By Turtles, bluesman Keb’ Mo’ and Band, alternative pop band Fitz & the Tantrums, a night of reggae with the Good Vibes Summer Tour 2021: Rebelution + Special Guests, and classic rockers Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo. It promises to be an amazing comeback!
As always, Britt has your wellness and safety in mind. As for our beloved patrons, Britt Music and Arts Festival strongly encourages, but does not require, mask-wearing as a general policy. Britt is following CDC guidelines. No mask required at this time. COVID-19 policy is subject to change.
Furthermore, we will adhere to any state-mandated COVID precautions and/or performer requirements in place at the time of each show, including but not limited to wearing masks. Britt will provide masks upon request. Also, hand sanitizing stations will be conveniently located around the venue.
In addition, patrons will be required to agree to the following before purchasing tickets. By purchasing Britt ticket(s), you and your party agree to the following: My party and I understand the inherent risk of exposure to ourselves and others to COVID-19 in any public space where people are present. By attending a Britt Music and Arts Festival concert, my party and I expressly agree to comply with all rules and safety guidelines put in place by Britt Music and Arts Festival and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. My party and I understand that, as a condition of purchasing Britt ticket(s), we are releasing and waiving all claims and potential claims against Britt Music and Arts Festival relating to such risks, including but not limited to any and all claims based on negligence.
Lastly, as a reminder, Britt is now a non-smoking venue. This policy includes smoking of any kind including vaping, and marijuana. If you can’t refrain from these substances for a two hour concert, please reconsider attending the show.
While these rules and regulations might seem like a bit of a downer, all of the aforementioned policies are for your health and safety and the community’s wellbeing. Compared to not knowing if we could hold a season, these are small adjustments for all of us to make.
We are so thankful to bring music and YOU back to the hill this summer! Thanks to everyone who helped bring us back! Let’s “Come Together” and live life to its fullest, once again. See you soon!
