MEDFORD, OR — Due to the extreme smoky conditions prevailing in the region, the Britt Orchestra performances scheduled for Wednesday, July 25, Friday, July 27 and Saturday, July 28 will now be held indoors at the North Medford High School Auditorium. Doors will open at 6:30 PM and the concerts will begin at 7:30 PM as previously scheduled. North Medford High School is located at 1900 N. Keene Way Dr. in Medford, Oregon.

The Pops concert scheduled for Wednesday night has already sold over capacity for the auditorium. Britt will offer seating on a first come first served basis until the facility is at full capacity for the July 25 concert. To help alleviate demand, Britt is offering credit toward other 2018 orchestra concerts or refunds in exchange for July 25 concert tickets only. In order to receive a credit or refund, patrons must contact the box office at 541-773-6077 or boxoffice@brittfest.org prior to 3:00pm, Wednesday, July 25.

Due to the new location, patrons will not be allowed to bring alcohol to these concerts. In addition, there will be no concessions provided for these concerts. Member parking, early entry, hospitality deck, pre-concert music and pre-concert talks have been canceled for these concerts as well.

This change of venue includes only July 25, 27 & 28. Britt president and CEO Donna Briggs says “We will reevaluate air quality conditions following the run of concerts this weekend.  If conditions improve, we will move back to Jacksonville.  The health and safety of our orchestra and patrons must be our first priority.  We ask the public to be patient as we deal with circumstances beyond our control.”

Britt is also offering free admission to any Britt Orchestra concerts except the Pops concert on July 25 for all firefighters and their families.
