News from Britt Hill – September 2026

IT’S HARD TO BELIEVE that Britt’s 2026 season is coming to an end this month. It’s been a glorious summer, and there are still a handful of shows remaining, plus a couple of special events.

Pink Martini kicks off September. Listening to Pink Martini always makes me feel like I’m a cool kid in sitting in some kind of amazing international cabaret club. Their shows are filled with joy and beauty, and I’m always surprised by something musical I’d never heard before. They’re a total treat, and I highly recommend checking this one out for the whole family!

On September 10, the Britt Under the Stars gala and silent disco afterparty will support our programs and the US Hotel project. Dinner on the Britt stage will accompany our annual fundraising auction led by Ellen Toscano, the Singing Auctioneer. Ellen dazzled us last year with her stage presence, her voice, and her amazing skills as a fundraiser. If dinner isn’t your thing, our afterparty is not to be missed! Silent disco is a blast, and tickets for just the afterparty are available right up until the day of the event for $35, which includes admission and two tacos.

On September 19, Britt hosts Coalicion Fortaleza’s admission-free El Mercadito. This will be our second year hosting this wonderful event. Come up to shop with incredible makers and vendors, buy some delicious food, and enjoy the park. This was one of my favorite events last year, and I’m so excited to experience it again!

Chicago performs on September 23, and their new lead singer, Rudy Cardenas, is getting rave reviews. Chicago is always a nice mix of delicious nostalgia, singing along, and some of the most charming stage banter you’ll ever see. The band is excellent, and it’s a great date night or outing with friends.

Finally, the season concludes with the hilarious Jim Gaffigan, the beloved “clean comedian” who often kicks off shows by having one of his kids on stage telling jokes. Gaffigan hasn’t been back to Britt since my first season in 2022, and he’s one of the most memorable shows I’ve seen at Britt.

We still have a handful of tickets for every one of these events, so I hope you’ll consider adding one more Britt night to your summer calendar before we move into the cozy seasons. Thanks, as always, for supporting your local, nonprofit, independent venue, and I hope to see you on the hill soon!

All best, Abby
