Robert Bruce Geer, known as “Trapper” by friends, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2020, at home in Jacksonville, Oregon. He was born October 18, l961, at Fort Rucker, Alabama, to Lee Wall Geer and the late Lt. Col. William A. Geer, Jr.
Trapper was a graduate of the Terrell Academy Class of 1978 and attended Albany Technical College.
Living in Oregon for many years, he had been employed at the historic Jacksonville Inn and GoodBean Coffee.
He is survived by daughter, Savannah Geer, son, Dakota Geer, grandson, Bently, and brother, Victor William Geer, all of Oregon, sister, Juliette Geer Kennedy of Athens, Georgia, and his mother, Lee Wall Geer of Dawson, Georgia.
There will be a private celebration of his life at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in Trapper’s name.
