We’re seeking Jackson County residents and business representatives to keep our programs growing strong.
Master Recyclers cultivate awareness and motivate others to prevent waste in Jackson County. They are the power behind numerous projects and programs, including the Plastic Round-up, community event recycling, workplace and school recycling programs, and much more. Since 2008, nearly 200 citizens and business/organization representatives have become part of a growing community of waste prevention ambassadors.
Classes will take place Tuesdays, March 10 – May 19, 5:30–8:30 pm at the Rogue Disposal & Recycling HQ, One West Main in downtown Medford.

Gain a broad understanding of the 3Rs, the local solid waste infrastructure, hazardous waste avoidance, e-waste, plastics, composting, zero-waste events, home waste prevention strategies and more. This annual course offers a training manual, discussion-based classes, presentations from regional experts, and field trips.

Youth welcome – Sign ’em up: Do you know an enthusiastic young person who’d like to become a Master Recycler? Ages 12-15 must be accompanied by an adult during class and volunteer service. Students ages 16+ who are responsible go-getter types and have transportation may enroll without an adult, with permission from a parent or guardian. Enroll Online Today!
