For Immediate Release: November 16, 2020—With the escalation of the coronavirus in Jackson County, we’ve had to make the decision to change the date of Hanley Farm’s Wreath Making event originally scheduled for November 28. In keeping with Oregon State guidelines for November 18 through December 2, we’ve rescheduled this event to December 5.

The time, location, etc., has not changed; just the date! December 5, 11am to 3pm, you can purchase a wreath-making kit and assemble your wreath at the farm, or purchase a kit and make your wreath at home. The kits contain all you need to make your wreath – a base of grapevines or fruitwood, greens, cones, berries and wire. For that “extra touch,” you may want to bring your own ribbons, ornaments, and trimmings. Wreath-making kits are $10 for SOHS Members, and $15 for non-Members.

AND, a special surprise! Santa’s returning to Hanley Farm to participate in the farm’s “Red Truck Christmas” photo-op. Hanley’s big red truck will be parked in front of the barn with Santa at the wheel and a Christmas tree in the back. For only $5 you can take a commemorative photo with your personal camera, or if you’d like, a volunteer will be pleased to take the photo for you. For those who may not have brought their camera, we will take a photo using our personal cellphone, and then email the picture to you.
