Jacksonville OR Friends of Classical Music – November 2023

The beautiful meeting room at New City Hall will become a concert hall on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at 3pm, when Quartet ES, a remarkably talented, internationally known string quartet takes the stage. A little more than a month later, on February 25, The Canellakis-Brown Duo, veteran performers of the Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, will perform on cello and piano. And, on March 10, The ASMI Chamber Trio will perform a thrilling repertoire, each member having been trained at Julliard and well-experienced on the world stage. Please visit www.jorfcm.org for links to the artists’ websites for more information and samples of their extraordinary music.

The presenters at Jacksonville OR Friends of Classical Music are proud to offer accommodations to these gifted artists at the newly-remodeled Magnolia Hotel located directly across the street from City Hall. Concertgoers who may invite friends and family to Jacksonville for one or more of these concerts are encouraged to contact our sponsor, Magnolia Hotel, if extra rooms are needed.

The upstairs assembly room at New City Hall, featuring a tall ceiling and fine acoustics, is an ideal setting for chamber music. To help achieve the best possible concert experience, seating is limited. Tickets are selling briskly, and we recommend purchasing tickets early. Tickets are available at www.jorfcm.org, where you will find detailed information about the organization, the concerts and artists. Please join us!
