Congratulations to the new owners of WillowCreek Gifts. In mid-March, Daniel Root and Emma Myers purchased WillowCreek Gifts from Jo Parker. When Jo realized she couldn’t operate the shop at her high-energy-level after back surgery, she went looking for an enthusiastic buyer for her beloved shop. As luck would have it, she found the perfect pair! Daniel (25) and Emma (24) are locals, who are getting married this May…they live in Jacksonville and love the community.
Prior to being a shopkeeper, Emma was a practicing school-based Mental Health Counselor with LaClinica, working with school-aged children. Daniel’s family owns and operates EdenVale Winery and has been in the valley for 100+ years, where he will continue in his role as the Facilities Manager while assisting Emma at the shop.
Daniel and Emma are continuing Jo’s tradition of excellent customer service and will be carrying the same mix of gift items—be sure and stop in and meet them soon!
