An army of 70+ volunteers from the Britt Society descended on Britt Hill on June 8 for a day-long project to help prepare the grounds for the 2014 season opening. The results of the renovation projects taking place for the last year are simply stunning – this season, Britt enters a new era with world-class amenities. Concert-goers will be thrilled with new pathways, bathrooms, concession stands, walkways, lighting and the new Performance Garden. During the annual volunteer day, Britt Society volunteers tackled every project imaginable including staining wood siding & railings, hosing & cleaning sidewalks and rental lawn chairs, assembling new outdoor furniture, planting, raking, cleaning, organizing and way more – all in an effort to make the hill look its best for you! The new Britt Hill is simply stunning – be sure to get your concert tickets and enjoy the Pacific Northwest’s most treasured outdoor music venue.
