The fall season for Voices of the Applegate is underway with the first rehearsal on Tuesday, September 4. This will be a very exciting time for the group with a new director, Shayne Flock, to lead the charming choir in an outstanding selection of music, both classical and contemporary.
Shayne Flock grew up in the Rogue Valley, where his father was the choir director at Hidden Valley High School for many years. Shayne attended Crater High School, where he is now the music director.
Voices of the Applegate will have twelve rehearsals beginning on Tuesday, September 4, and ending on November 27 at the Ruch Library, 7919 Highway 238, from 7:00-8:30pm. There are no auditions required; young, old, and in-between are all welcome. And since they are self-supporting, there’s a requested $55 tuition fee per member with scholarships available.
