Excitement is building for the World of Wine Festival! It is being held August 24 – 27 at Bigham Knoll in Jacksonville. This is the first time that Jacksonville has hosted this prestigious wine event. Visit WorldofWinefestival.com.

The two-day judging of 201 wines took place last week at the new Deja Vu Restaurant at the McCully House. Four judges sipped, spat, pondered, discussed, and ultimately rated 80 whites and 121 reds  – all from Southern Oregon wineries.

Wine makers: Jim Davidian, Caprice, Tim Navarro, Soloro, Jeanne Davidian & Les Martin, Red Lily

The “Judges Dinner” was held on Saturday night at the intimate patio at Bigham Knoll. The who’s who of the Southern Oregon Wine Industry were there to enjoy comaraderie, sip all of the wine entries, enjoy a nice dinner and learn the judging results – See Below!
