Don’t miss the 53rd Annual Children’s Festival! Special Agents, detectives and imagination will take center stage this year as we put on our Special Agent fedora hats and grab our magnifying glasses. Sponsored by the Storytelling Guild of Jackson County, this innovative 3-day event will take place July 13-15 at the Britt Festival Grounds in Jacksonville and will bring out the creativity of both the young and young at heart.
Admission to the Children’s Festival is a very low $3.00 per person. Children can enjoy hours of entertainment with many imagination-themed activities. There are over 30 hands-on art, craft, science projects plus the daily feeding of the litter-eating dragons, Rosabelle and Pebbles! Older children will enjoy candlemaking, pottery and woodworking, while younger children will have a chance to make their own puppet, sand and easel art, have faces painted and more. The whole family can look forward to child-focused stage performances and yummy food from our Dragon Deli. All proceeds benefit the Storytelling Guild, a non-profit organization.
Children’s Festival has 3 general sessions over a 3-day period:
- Saturday, July 13, Session 1: 4:30-8:30pm Evening Session
- Sunday, July 14, Session 2: 4:30-8:30pm Evening Session
