The Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce is pleased to again bring you the magic of Jacksonville’s Victorian Christmas—an old-fashioned, small town holiday celebration you will want to share with you and yours, weekends November 26-27, December 3-4, 10-11, and 17-18, 2022.

We kick-off the holidays with Shop Small Saturday on Saturday, November 26, from 10am-5pm, with downtown merchants celebrating with promotions. On the same day, join community friends at the Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5pm on the New City Hall lawn (5th & California Street). From 5:45-8pm, join fellow revelers at the Jacksonville Community Center’s “After the Tree Lighting” celebration for music, games, kid’s crafts, holiday cider and cheer.

We’re excited for our annual Victorian Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 3, at 10am. Look for new parade participants as well as some of your usual favorites. We are also excited to announce that the parade route has been expanded this year along California Street and parts of 5th Street to allow for more visitors and to extend the fun!

Father Christmas and his elves will be visiting at the Beekman Bank, 11am-4pm, on Sunday, November 27, and weekends until December 18. Complimentary hot cider in front of the US Hotel on California Street will help keep you warm while you’re out dining and shopping in town.

The Table Rock Kiwanis Club will be selling See’s Candies on weekends, November 26 through December 18, 11am-4pm, in front of the US Hotel on California Street, next to the cider stand. Fundraiser donations are used to help support children, youth, and families in our community.

We encourage you to SHOP LOCAL and support all our wonderful small businesses this holiday season. They offer unique gifts as well as gift cards and certificates for everyone on your gift list. Be sure and check out the various musicians that will be in town on the weekends and enjoy festive holiday classics while you shop.

As a small-town Chamber of Commerce, we also count on the generosity of our community to financially support our month-long season of events. To donate and learn more about this year’s Victorian Christmas schedule of events, please visit www.ChristmasInJacksonville.com and see Schedule of Events on page 3.

We look forward to sharing information about upcoming events in the new year. On behalf of the entire Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
