Holiday Treasures, our annual holiday shopping show, continues every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through December 29! Come to Art Presence to find inspiring gifts of art for the extra-special and hard-to-shop-for people on your gift-giving list. Bring your art purchases home immediately to wrap and give in time for the holidays. Artists are continuously restocking the gallery through the show’s end, so stop in often to see what’s new!

Our guest exhibit for December is the Seventh Annual Angels Show. Beautiful angels created by over 20 artists in a broad range of size, medium, style, technique and artist interpretation will turn your eyes to the heavens and stretch your imagination to new understandings of what an angel can be.

The Angels Show opens Friday, December 6. Join us for an angelic reception and meet this year’s Angel artists over hors d’oeuvres and beverages on Saturday, December 7, from 1:00-3:00pm.

On Friday, December 13, at 5:00pm, join author Lily Myers Kaplan to celebrate the release of her second book, Loss to Legacy: A Stepping Stone Path to Healing and Transformation. Kaplan’s book offers to help us navigate the tumult of grieving a death, lamenting cultural and planetary upheaval, or mourning the end of a marriage or career. With beautiful storytelling and a step-by-step healing process that incorporates ancient truths, nature’s cycles, and acceptance of death as an essential part of the human experience, Loss to Legacy guides us through mourning to find meaning, create purpose and build a living legacy—leaving what matters most in your own wake.

Art Presence thanks the Haines and Friends Fund for a generous grant! We will use this gift to remodel the upstairs, creating studio space for five artists. The gallery will be closed for January 2020 while we complete this exciting project.

In February, our annual Naked Art exhibition makes fine art affordable with top quality unframed, unmounted artworks by member artists. Irresistible prices make this a great opportunity to start or expand your art collection. Naked Art opens Friday, January 31, and continues through Sunday, March 1.

Our guest exhibit for February is Wit and Wisdom, an exhibition of works by the Calligraphers’ Guild. Meet the artists and calligraphers represented in our February shows at a reception on Saturday, February 1, from 1:00–3:00pm.
