Jacksonville’s South Stage Cellars and Quail Run Vineyards were honored with awards at this year’s World of Wine Event in August.
South Stage won 4 Silver medals at WOW and some other winning wines have Quail Run grapes in them.
South Stage Cellars Silver medal winners: 2009 Bliss (a true Sauterne style dessert wine made from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.
2008 Syrah, 2009 Grenache and 2009 Serendipity (a white blend of Rousanne, Marsanne, Viognier and Grenache Blanc).
In addition, 6 other medal winners are made with our Quail Run fruit:
Spangler 2009 Petite Sirah (The Terraces), Gold medal; and the Silvers are: 08 Paradox, 08 Ellie Viognier, 09 J. Scott Cellars Grenache and 09 J. Scott Cellars Petite Sirah and 2010 Philantrophie (a Sauvignon Blanc).
