Jacksonville Review – April 2024

Join us for a delightful journey of flavors and discovery as the Rogue Valley Lions Club presents a unique wine-tasting event on Friday, May 31, 4-8pm. This combines the best of Rogue Valley’s wine scene with the charm of Central Point’s local businesses. The event starts at 300 E. Pine Street in Central Point.

Thirteen excellent local wineries will be paired with thirteen Central Point businesses to create a satisfying experience. You will enjoy exploring the diverse array of establishments while indulging in excellent wines from some of the Rogue Valley’s finest vineyards.

We are excited to again bring together the best of the Rogue Valley wine scene and Central Point’s local businesses for this delightful event,” says Drake Poston, the Wine Walk coordinator for the Rogue Valley Lions. “It’s a great opportunity for our friends and neighbors to discover new favorites, support local businesses, and create lasting memories.

About the Lions Club: Our community outreach to the Rogue Valley area has been ongoing for over 75 years as the Jacksonville Lions Club. We recently changed our name and focus to Rogue Valley Lions Club to cover a wider area. Our goals are to raise funds to share with other worthy organizations such as the Crater High School Band, the Lions Sight and Hearing Center in Medford, provide school vision screening for local elementary schools, road-cleanups, and other local community needs.
