Online community for moms teams up with Schmidt Family Vineyards and Allaboard Trolley Tours to raise money for the Women’s Crisis Support Team
Southern Oregon – RogueValleyMomsforMoms.com, (RVMfM) a hyper-local social network for moms in the Rogue Valley is throwing a Wine & Chocolates Fundraiser at Schmidt Family Vineyards on Saturday, May 23, 2015 to benefit The Women’s Crisis Support Team.
Two types of tickets will be sold for this fun and community-minded event: Trolley Tickets and Vineyard-Only tickets.
Trolley Ticket holders will arrive at Schmidt Family Vineyards at 1:30 p.m. to catch the Allaboard Trolley which will depart directly on a wine tasting tour of a few other vineyards in the Applegate Valley. Upon return of the trolley to Schmidt around 4:00 p.m., Trolley Ticket holders will disembark and Vineyard-Only ticket holders will join in for the “Vineyard Mixer” portion of the event which will include hors d’oeuvres and more wine tasting in Schmidt’s back veranda area where there will also be interesting booths, raffle prizes displayed and raffle tickets for sale. Enjoyment of these festivities will continue at Schmidt until the event ends around 6:00 p.m. and raffle winners are drawn.
RVMfM owner Juliet Meredith hopes the event will raise significant funds for The Women’s Crisis Support Team. She says, “Since the site will be two years old in July of this year, it was definitely time for us to find a way to give back to the community!” Meredith also says the best way other community members can help with the fundraiser is through the donation of raffle items for the event raffle.
