February 12, 1945 – October 27, 2023

Robert “Bob” Leland Dorr, born February 12, 1945, Chicago, IL passed from life on October 27, 2023, in Medford, OR, after years of living with Frontotemporal Dementia.

Robert graduated from Arcadia High School, Arcadia, CA, Pasadena City College, Pasadena, CA and Cal State, Long Beach, CA.

Past president of: Kiwanis Club, West Covina, CA, SAAC (Specialty Advertising Association California), and Sparks Rotary, Sparks, NV.

Bob was very active in his service clubs including Jacksonville Boosters and Jacksonville/Applegate Rotary where he was a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a member of the Bequest Society.

Robert owned and operated Earl Butler & Associates, Inc. from 1987, taking over the business, started in 1970, from his mother and stepfather.  He stepped into retirement and sold the business in 2018.  Bob was an active member of the specialty advertising industry serving on various committees as well as president of SAAC.

Bob will be remembered for his humor and ready smile, love of dogs and wine, The Kingston Trio, family and most importantly faith.

Robert leaves behind his wife, Colleen Dorr, daughter Amber Delger (Konrad), his grandchildren, Kerrie Oates (Jack), Amy Delger (John Cunningham) and Kristopher Delger (Jeremy Lark & William Clark). Great-grandchildren Damian Cunningham and Adahjean Oates. His sister, Robin (Don) Field, numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends who loved him.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Barbara Dorr, his parents James L. Dorr and Roberta Dorr Butler, his stepfather Earl Butler, his brother James Dorr, and his nephew Jimmy Grogan.
