Rays Market has New Manager
Terry Edwards (left) is the new manager of Rays Market in Jacksonville, Oregon as of mid-August. Edwards replaces Adam Ballero (right) who held the post for 3 ½ years. Ballero will manage the former Tarks Market in Talent, Oregon which was recently acquired by Rays. Adam said his time in Jacksonville was great and that he sincerely appreciated the support he received from his loyal customers.
Edwards has a long history with C & K Markets, parent company of Rays and Shop Smart. Prior to coming to Jacksonville, Edwards managed the Gold Hill Rays for 4 ½ years and the Harbor, Oregon Shop Smart store for 5 years. Edwards lives in the area with his wife Deborah. The couple has a 16 year-old son at home and have raised two daughters. Terry says, “I’m excited to be working in the community and look forward to getting to know everyone.”
