Linda and Tony Kilcollins of Jacksonville know a thing or two about fun…and wine. Linda says the local wine-lovers group, affectionately dubbed, “Pour Choices,” started in 2018, and has been going strong ever since. The group meets once a month for blind tastings, with ever-changing varietals featured each month. She says, “The majority of our members are from Jacksonville and a few from the outlying area…most of us met via wine events or casually having a glass of wine at a wine bar and even from taking Yoga classes at DANCIN.”

As long-term volunteers with Oregon Wine Experience, the Kilcollins try to “keep it local” whenever possible, by intentionally promoting and supporting Southern Oregon wines. The group has its own Facebook page and what started out as a small group, ebbs and flows with the seasons. Interested wine lovers will find more online, along with photos, announcements and last-minute gatherings.

Group member Tom Humphrey, who originally came up with the name Pour Choices with his wife, Sarah, said, the name will give others some idea of our disparate personalities…it’s a welcoming and a dynamic association…we all really appreciate Linda and Tony for knitting us all together.”
