The Rogue Valley Growers & Crafters Market (#RVGCM) invites YOU to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month with us in the best way we know how: coming together as a community of citizens, growers, and crafters to raise awareness about a disease impacting nearly 300,000 women today[1].
“Pink Local!” with us at any one of our four weekly markets, each decked out in pink throughout the month of October. Our vendors will be selling special pink versions of your favorite treats and you can stop by our traveling Pink Booth to meet breast cancer survivors and advocates, learn about local access to mammograms and support groups, and access opportunities to spread breast cancer awareness!
We will be collecting donations from vendors and market-goers, and when we reach our fundraising goal, the Market will match it! These donations will support our local chapter of the American Cancer Society, helping cancer patients right here in the Rogue Valley!
You can “Pink Local!” by proudly wearing your pink at any of our four weekly markets, stopping by our travelling pink booth (#ifoundthepinklocalbooth), and donating with us! Our Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday Ashland markets are open from 8:30am to 1:00pm, and our Saturday Medford market is open from 9:00am to 1:00pm. “Pink Local!” also marks the final month of the market season for our Saturday markets in Medford and Ashland – make sure to come by either of these fantastic markets by October 25th to tale part before they close for the season.
