On April 5, 2023, Pattie Bakke passed away peacefully at age 60 after a short battle with cancer. Pattie is survived by her four children, Jesse, Jeremy, Josh, and Grace.
Born in Manhattan Beach, California in 1963, Pattie grew up with a love of theater and dreams of being famous. She never ended up making movies, but she was loved by many. In her life she raised extended families in
Los Angeles, Ojai, and Southern Oregon. She worked in many restaurants during her life and picked up a few tricks and recipes along the way. Most of all, her children say they will miss cooking with their mom and taking her tips home. It was Pattie’s time spent in restaurants that led to her making so many friends in our community. The letters and messages during this difficult time were appreciated and is a reminder of how much she was loved.
Pattie’s ashes will be spread in a private family memorial. Friends are encouraged to hold their own private gatherings to remember her.
