Meet the Pioneers of Southern Oregon

Each October, the Friends of Jacksonville’s Historic Cemetery present a program of living history, featuring professional and amateur actors who portray former residents who have left their mark on Southern Oregon.

Proceeds are used to restore and protect one of Oregon’s oldest cemeteries- established in 1860 and still in use today.
