Marge Wall, the owner of Country Quilts here in Jacksonville was passionate about quilting. It turns out, she was also passionate about cooking.

This past Christmas, Marge passed away. Her daughter Debbie was tasked with clearing out her mother’s personal belongings. Among the items were boxes and boxes of cookbooks that Marge had collected throughout her 86 years on this planet. Debbie called Erika Bishop, new owner of The Pot Rack, and asked if she wanted the books. Erika enthusiastically accepted the kind offer and has since created a cookbook lending library in honor of Marge Wall. Now you can stop by The Pot Rack at 140 W. California St. any day, 11:00am and 5:00pm, and check-out a book from Marge’s private collection. Debbie said, “My mom would be so thrilled to be remembered and honored in this way.”
