Jacksonville Review – October 2023

Magnolia Hotel owners, Jeff & Niki Bale, want to thank everyone who stayed with them or referred friends and family this summer. They say it’s been encouraging since reopening the Magnolia Hotel last March and they’re planning several exciting community events this fall.

First up is the 1st Annual Community Harvest Party & Pie Contest on Saturday, October 28, from noon-7pm. This event will feature food, live music, a fun pie contest, with local wines available for purchase. The event is free and all are welcome, with all proceeds benefitting Sparrow Clubs. Sparrow Clubs is an amazing organization that empowers kids-to-help-kids in medical need through kindness and sponsored community service. A suggested donation of $5/person is appreciated. To enter the Pie Contest, email info@magnoliahotelor.com and provide your name, phone, and type of pie. The contest winner receives a two-night stay at the Hotel.

Starting in November, Magnolia Hotel will be featuring a monthly LOCAL’S-ONLY night. To make you feel like a kid again, gather your friends and come in your PJs! There will be plenty of snacks and games…you bring the beverages and fun. This is a great chance to spend time together without having to rush off, and maybe even meet some new neighbors. Space is limited so reserve your group or single room soon! Dates: Nov 8, Dec 6, Jan 10, Feb 7, Mar 6 & Apr 3rd. Cost: $135/room. To book, email info@magnoliahotelor.com or call
