Jacksonville Review – June 2026

EACH SUMMER, the six farms of the Southern Oregon Lavender Trail open their gates for two memorable weekends celebrating lavender in full bloom. This beloved annual festival invites visitors to slow down, explore the countryside, and experience the fragrance, beauty, and creativity inspired by lavender.

During the festival weekends, guests will discover a wide variety of lavender plants, hand-crafted goods, and u-pick opportunities at most of the participating farms. From fresh bundles to culinary products and artisan creations, lavender appears in countless forms, offering something for everyone to enjoy or take home.

In addition to the lavender itself, each farm hosts a unique lineup of activities designed to create a welcoming and engaging experience. Visitors can expect food and beverage vendors, including wine and cider tastings, along with live music that adds to the festive atmosphere. Families will find kid-friendly activities, while others may enjoy demonstrations, workshops, and classes focused on lavender growing, harvesting, and uses. Local artisans and vendors also add to the vibrant marketplace feel found across the trail.

Each destination offers its own distinct charm and thoughtfully curated experience, encouraging guests to visit multiple farms throughout the event. Whether you are wandering through fragrant fields, learning something new, or simply relaxing with a picnic and a view, the Lavender Trail invites exploration at your own pace. A convenient map available on the official Southern Oregon Lavender Trail website helps visitors plan their route and make the most of their time.

Over the years, these festival weekends have become an anticipated highlight of Southern Oregon’s seasonal rhythm. They celebrate not only the beauty of lavender, but also the region’s creativity, agriculture, and sense of community.

We invite you to come experience it for yourself—breathe in the scent of lavender in bloom, enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of each farm, and create lasting memories in one of Southern Oregon’s most cherished summer traditions.
