If you’ve even given a THOUGHT to doing something vocally musical in 2023, have we got a deal for you! We have opportunities for excitement, personal skill growth, being a part of something bigger than yourself, and just plain fun! Voices of the Applegate sings classical, pop, jazz, calypso, African, 60’s, 70’s, musicals, spirituals, Disney, gospel, and everything in between. We are a no-audition 20-24 member community choir in our 19th year, now under the direction of Shayne Flock (also director at North Medford). We meet for 12 weeks per session, culminating in two concerts: one at the historic Jacksonville Presbyterian Church and another at the Applegate River Lodge. Practices are conducted at the Ruch Library on Tuesdays from 7:00- 8:30 for 12 weeks per session. We are totally self-supporting with a $65 tuition per singer (scholarships available), and the generous donations of our audiences. So go ahead! Take on a challenge for the New Year and become a more talented YOU! First rehearsal is Tuesday, January 10. We’ll start earlier to allow for meet-and-greet and registration–6:30 PM at the Ruch Library. We eagerly look forward to meeting you!
