The Jacksonville Garden Club’s 2017 Holiday Greens Sale brings festive cheer to the season by offering a wide array of holiday decorations for homes and businesses. The selections, all hand-crafted by Garden Club members, include table arrangements with candles, baskets of all sizes with cones, holly and bows, and wreaths that are showstoppers. The arrangements are very reasonably priced and last for weeks if watered regularly. A large basket filled with holiday items will be raffled off, and sweet treats will also be available for purchase.
This year’s sale will be held on Friday, December 1, 10:00am-3:00pm, and Saturday, December 2, 9:00am-3:00pm, in the alcove near the Jacksonville Post Office. On Saturday the sale will be open during Jacksonville’s Christmas parade.
Proceeds from Jacksonville Garden Club events fund local scholarships, including long-standing support of Oregon Stewardship’s mission of working with area high school students. In addition, Club funds and volunteer energies are dedicated to the Peter Britt Garden, the Post Office Garden, Scheffel-Thurston Park and numerous other local beautification projects. Come to the sale, support these worthy causes and enjoy lovely natural greens during the holidays!
