THE CREATIVE TALENTS of Jacksonville Garden Club members are already at work to produce some new and charming craft offerings at the Club’s annual Spring Sale. The Sale will be held in downtown Jacksonville on Saturday, May 11, 10am-2pm, in the alcove next to the Post Office.

As always, club members will use fresh spring flowers to make reasonably-priced, beautiful arrangements—for a sweet Mother’s Day surprise or a gift to yourself or a friend. Perennials, annuals, ground covers, veggie and herb starts, succulents, and houseplants will be offered. Craft items will include small planter boxes and handmade cards. Delicious baked goods and treats will also be on sale. There is something for everyone at the Spring Sale!

Funds raised from Garden Club events go to support local student scholarships at the Oregon Stewardship and Rogue Community College. In addition, the Club’s funds and its volunteers assist local beautification projects at the Peter Britt Garden, Scheffel-Thurston Park, the Jacksonville Community Center, the Beekman Arboretum, and Doc Griffin Park. Visit the Spring Sale on May 11th and get a dose of spring happiness while contributing to a good cause!
