THE JOY OF SPRINGTIME FLOWERS marks a wonderful season in our community. Members of the Jacksonville Garden Club use their creative artistry to take full advantage of the beautiful blooms to make lovely arrangements from fresh-cut flowers for the Club’s annual Spring Sale. The sale will be held in downtown Jacksonville on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 10am-2pm, in the alcove next to the Post Office. Arrangements are available in all sizes and in a range of prices—for Mother’s Day or a nice gift to a friend or for yourself. Also on sale that day will be spring starts of flowering plants, potted perennials, and succulents. Baked goods and treats, as well as lovely handmade cards, bird houses, and crafts, all made by Club members, will also be available.

Funds raised go to support local students’ scholarships at the Oregon Stewardship and educational activities at our Jacksonville Elementary School. In addition, the Club’s funds and its members’ volunteer energies support local beautification projects at Scheffel-Thurston Park, the Jacksonville Community Center, the Post Office and Visitors’ center, our Historic Cemetery, the Police Station and Doc Griffin Park. Visit the Spring Sale on May 10, and bring home some spring cheer while contributing to a good cause!
