Jacksonville Review – December 2025 / January 2026
THE JACKSONVILLE GARDEN CLUB’S Holiday Greens Sale is a wonderful, fun way to bring seasonal cheer to homes and businesses in our community. This year the sale will be held Friday, December 5, 10am-2pm, in Jacksonville, in the alcove near the Post Office.
Club members use their artistic skills to make beautiful table arrangements, decorate wreaths, and assemble swags using fresh boughs, holly, cones and other natural materials. All these bring fragrance and color to decorate your home or business, or to give as lovely gifts. Our popular and unique wreaths are offered in either 28” or 18” sizes. Sweet treats, cards and other holiday items will also be available on sale day.
Proceeds from Jacksonville Garden Club events fund local scholarships, including students who work on the Oregon Stewardship’s Bear Creek restoration projects. In addition, Club funds and volunteer energies are dedicated to many local gardens: the Peter Britt grounds, the Post Office, Scheffel-Thurston Park, the Jacksonville Community Center, the Jacksonville Police station, and other local beautification projects. Stop by and bring something home that will brighten your holidays with lovely natural greens and also support a good cause!
