One of our community’s wonderful traditions in this season is the Jacksonville Garden Club’s Holiday Greens Sale. Using fresh holly, pine, and cedar boughs, Club members use their creativity and artistic skills to make lovely table arrangements, baskets, wreaths, and swags decorated with cones, bows and candles. The arrangements bring fragrance and color to decorate your home or business, or to give as treasured gifts. Our beautiful and unique wreaths will be offered in either 28” or 18” sizes. Fresh-baked holiday treats, artistic greeting cards, ornaments, and other surprises will also be available for purchase.
This year the Club’s Holiday Greens Sale will be held Friday, December 1st, 2023, from 10am to 3pm, in the alcove near the Jacksonville Post Office.
Proceeds from Jacksonville Garden Club events fund local students’ scholarships, including through the Oregon Stewardship. In addition, Club funds and volunteer energies are dedicated to the Peter Britt Garden, the Post Office Garden, Scheffel-Thurston Park, the Jacksonville Community Center, and other local beautification projects.
