THE JACKSONVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT, Jacksonville Police Department, and our Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) invite you to join us for an important Community Evacuation Forum:

This one-hour session is designed to provide critical information and open discussion on how our community can best prepare for and respond to an emergency evacuation. Topics will include:

  • Evacuation Zones: Know your area and plan your route
  • Emergency Alerts & Communication: How you will be notified during an emergency
  • Evacuation Options: Understanding multiple ways out of your neighborhood
  • The Role of CERT: How and when volunteers are activated
  • Evacuation Levels 1, 2, & 3: What each level means for you and your family
  • Evacuation Drills & Practice Exercises: Opportunities to participate and prepare
  • Go Bags & Contents: What you need for a quick, safe evacuation
  • Resources: Information available on the Jacksonville Fire Department website
