FROM CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, OREGON, MARCH 23, 2020–Given the evolving situation with COVID-19 and the directives from Governor Brown, all City offices and departments will be closing to public walk-in traffic as of Monday, March 23rd at 1:00 pm. All departments will remain open and available to the public during normal work hours by phone and email. Should the need arise to conduct business in person, an appointment will be scheduled on a case by case basis. The phones will still be on to assist the public in conducting business with the City. We will have minimal staff working in the City and staff working remotely.
The closing of all City offices and departments is not meant to cause panic; we are conducting business in a manner to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
