The Jacksonville CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) will conduct a seminar designed to assist homeowners in preparing for emergencies on Tuesday, March 5, 6:00-8:00pm, and Saturday, March 16, 10:00am-noon, in the Naversen Room of the library.
Important topics such as creating an effective defensible space around homes, creating “GO” bags (containing essential documents, etc. in case of evacuation), signing up with the Citizen Alert Emergency Notification System, primary and secondary evacuation routes, and much more will be discussed.
