Focus on Hanley Farm – August 2020

We are dealing with a highly contagious virus that travels person-to-person, propelled by a person singing, by speech, a cough, or a sneeze. How do we help curb the spread of the virus? CDC guidelines stress limited contact with others, observing safe distancing requirements, frequent handwashing and/or sanitizing, and wearing face masks. Deferring to CDC reopening guidelines, Hanley Farm has formulated a well thought-out reopening plan, designed to ensure you, your family, and friends enjoy continued good health and wellbeing. When can the Farm reopen? Unfortunately, we are unable to give a date. It depends on the Covid-19 gods and mandates from Governor Brown. But, rest assured, we will reopen!

Hanley Farm Events:

  • Thursday Evening at Hanley Farm was previously scheduled to be held in July, but due to planning protocols for a successful live event, it has been canceled. However, when we are able to reopen, you’ll have the opportunity to experience a variety of events, including an evening of music, exhibits; arts and craft events, and of course, more!
  • The annual Halloween walk through the haunted fields of Hanley Farm is being reconfigured as a stage play to be held on Hanley Farm’s outdoor stage, or at Crater High School’s indoor theater. For several years, Crater High School Renaissance Academy’s talented students have brought these adventures to life with their entertaining, frightfully-funny performances, and we are looking forward to their return this year. However, it depends upon their schedule; we will keep you informed!
