We’re Turning Tom Cats into Cool Cats
Summer, it’s all about warm evenings, soft breezes…and lots of back alley action. Yep, while you’re at the neighbors’ BBQ every unfixed tom cat is out there cruising the streets. There’s no stoppin’ em. Every night, everywhere they comb the neighborhoods looking for action.
Less than 30 percent of cats fixed are males; yet they contribute to the cat overpopulation more than any female. That’s why SNYP is working to reduce the number of unaltered males by providing our annual $10 a Tom summer campaign.
Throughout July ANYONE in Jackson County can get their male cats fixed for just $10. You can even fix your neighbor’s cat for that price!
Unaltered male cats are always ready, willing, and able.
A male cat does not have a heat cycle. While a female cat can have up to three litters a year, an active male cat can be responsible for hundreds of offspring per year.
For just $10 you can prevent the birth of thousands of kittens and keep your male cat healthier! Reduce spraying, cat fights, injuries, and most of all…save lives!.
Beginning July 1st, the certificates will be sold at:
•Pet Country
•Medford Grange Co-Op
•Ashland Grange Co-Op
•White City Grange Co-Op
•Medford Mini Pet Mart (on Stewart)
To qualify:
•All cats must be male
•All cats must be tame
The certificates can be redeemed at any of the many participating veterinary offices listed on the back of the certificate.
