Summer is in its crescendo here in Jacksonville. The harmony between the magic of Britt and the timeless charm of our landmark town swells with vibrant energy. There is a happy synergy bringing residents and visitors into shared celebration.
The impressive line up of 15 Britt shows this August provides countless opportunities to celebrate music on the big stage that has made our town famous.
In addition to the music, the Chamber enthusiastically encourages our entire community to attend the Britt Gala 2025. This benefit will help fund the transformation of the US Hotel. This event represents something even more significant for our community’s future as it directly connects our downtown with the organization that brings life to the hill above our historic core. Support Britt’s mission to restore this iconic landmark in the heart of Jacksonville.
When our community comes together to support initiatives like the US Hotel restoration, we’re making an investment in our shared future. Equal to the spirit of financial generosity is the valued investment of time through volunteering. The magic of Britt comes alive through dedicated volunteers who make the season run smoothly and beautifully. As one season of community service transitions to another, we need this same volunteer dedication for Victorian Christmas.
Even as we’re fully immersed in summer festivities, the Chamber is already planning Victorian Christmas. This signature holiday event requires tremendous community support to succeed. The same vibrant energy that brings us together for summer concerts will transform into the cozy, magical atmosphere of our historic holiday celebration.
We’re actively seeking volunteers to help make our signature holiday season come to life. Before we know it, we will see the splendor of the autumn that is right around the corner transform into joyful Christmas carols echoing through our historic streets. Our beloved trolleys that currently provide narrated history tours along summer streets and transport wine lovers to our vineyards and bring concert goers up the hill to Britt will soon be filled with festive carols amid the twinkling lights of our Holiday Trolley Lights Tours.
Victorian Christmas truly takes a village—and our dedicated volunteers add the magic that make it possible.
