The Storytelling Guild is collecting books for local children in need.
Support literacy and the love of reading by donating new or gently used children’s books to the Storytelling Guild. Book Drive donations support the Guild’s Pass the Book program. The Pass the Book provides thousands of books every year to local agencies which work with children in need, from newborns to older teens–agencies like Kids Unlimited, Head Start, Juvenile Detention, Community Health Centers, the Children’s Advocacy Center, Dunn House and others. Books are often given directly to children participating in programs at these agencies.
Community donations to Pass the Book are an important part of the program’s success and typically represent 1/3 of the total books available through the program each year.
