Intrigued by the concept of a garden ‘room’ or secret garden? Come learn from plant expert and designer Bonni Criswell, about the best choices for a more natural looking mixed hedge or privacy screen and how they can serve more than one purpose! Challenging situations such as small or narrow spaces, deer and fire restrictions will also be discussed. Saturday, February 16, 10:00am, Bareroot Basics: Fruit Tree Planting, Pruning & Training, with Scott—This is one of our most popular classes, so sign up early! Fruit trees are a fun and useful addition to any yard and we will show you pruning methods for a wide variety of trees, including techniques for smaller spaces. Kick-off bare root fruit tree season with an expert tutorial on how to give them the best start, as well as care for young trees down the road.
